Grabbed this for my boyfriend who's always out on the patio grilling something, and he hasn't put it down since it arrived. The layout of the roll-out bag is genius — everything has its own strap or pocket so nothing slides around or gets damaged. He was especially excited about the colorful skewers because we do a lot of kabob nights with friends and keeping everyone's order straight is always a challenge. The meat claws have already been used on a smoked pork shoulder and he said they worked perfectly. The knife is sharp right out of the bag and the spatula feels substantial in the hand. I've been grilling for over fifteen years and this is genuinely one of the best sets I've come across. The roll-out bag is something I didn't know I needed until I had it — unzip it, lay it flat, and everything is right there in front of you. No digging around in a case or a drawer trying to find the right tool mid-cook. The spatula is hefty and well-made with a serrated edge and bottle opener built right in. The colorful skewers are a clever touch — each person at the table can keep track of their own. Meat claws are solid and make pulling brisket or pork shoulder a breeze. The wood handles look great and stay comfortable even after extended use over the heat. This set just works, plain and simple.
